The Civil War is a vast subject and there is always scope for new learning. I recommend this film to anyone , who is leaving aside school day memories, and starting a new study of the Civil War. They will not find this 15 minutes of viewing to be dry but should realise that they have a long way to go before they have a basic knowledge of the subject. It would make a great reference of about the proper length for a high school paper on the subject. I enjoyed it very much. It also provides a view of some of the battlefields from a time, the 1950's, when the land was much less built up than it is now.
