29837 Well, this trailer certainly did its job -- it made me consider actually watching Bela Lugosi Meets the Brooklyn Gorilla! I haven't followed through yet, but I will one of these days. It's interesting to note how alarmingly similar Sammy Petrillo's performance (and appearance) is to Jerry Lewis. If I remember correctly, there was some kind of legal trouble between the two parties because of it. Anyway, as far as trailers go, this one's in a pretty good condition, and, like I said, the content itself was enough to at least pique some interest in the movie -- Bela Lugosi fan or otherwise. Bela Lugosi gets his name in a movie title so he must’ve been proud of that, but the real big thing about this one of course, is Duke Mitchell and Sammy Patrillo playing, not officially mind you, Martin and Lewis. There have been a number people who have said that Duke Mitchell’s Martin is no big deal, but Sammy Patrillo is incredible. And yes, that DOES show in the trailer. Lewis sued him for it, and rightly so, because this is more than an imitation. So this trailer is quite watchable for that alone. Ha Ha!
